Syd is a trans dancer, actor, choreographer, and drag king based in NYC known for their dynamic theatricality and precision.

They’ve created and performed work in immersive theater, concert dance, musical theater, dance film, and nightlife in LA, San Francisco, and New York.

They’re an ongoing collaborator with Detour Productions, devising and performing in immersive dance theater projects including Pompeii, The Twilight Aristocracy, and We Build Houses Here. As their drag persona, Les B. Frank, they’ve performed with Clutch The Pearls, PRINCESS at Oasis, on KQED Live, and on other stages across the Bay Area and Brooklyn.

Growing up in Houston, TX, their training focused on dance, and originally, competitive gymnastics. They earned B.A.s in Dance and Graphic Design from Loyola Marymount University, studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and further expanded their skills in acting, singing, mime, drag, and burlesque as their career grew.
